2017 Cock Au Vin Sierra Foothill Rosé ($16)

TASTING NOTES:

73 % Sangiovese, 17.5% Zinfandel, 7.5% Merlot.  The first edition of the Cock Au Vin Dry Rosé follows a long line of Boyle MacDonald made Dry Rosés, and like its predecessors, this wine is crisp, refreshing and layered with great flavor.  Fruit forward, with notes of red cherry, strawberry, and bright citrus, sip the Cock Au Vin Rosé by the pool, pair with oysters on the half-shell by the beach, or enjoy with a fresh garden salad on your deck.
